Doug Plaehn, Chairperson - Doug has been on the Kingsland School Board since January 2011.  Doug also serves on the Spring Valley Utilities board. He is employed as a finance manager at Mayo Clinic. Doug and his wife have two boys. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. Spring Valley Public School Graduate.


 

Tiffany Mundfrom, Director - Tiffany is a newly elected board
member and works at Mayo Clinic. She is also a member of the Kingsland School Parents group. Tiffany and her husband have three children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, shooting bow, taking pictures and watching her kids in their activities. Kingsland Public School Graduate.


 
 

Leah Stier is a newly elected interim board member. She works as an Office Assistant for her husband’s family business in Spring Valley. She has two children and is an active volunteer within the Kingsland district. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family while camping and mud racing.  Leah has lived in Spring Valley for over 10 years. 


Heather Betts, Treasurer - Heather is a newly elected board member. She is employed as pharmacist-in-charge at Weber & Judd Pharmacy here in Spring Valley. Heather and her husband have three children. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, running and competing in races, and teaching Sunday School at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Heather grew up in Spring Valley and is a Kingsland Public School Graduate.

Ann Oeltjen, Clerk - Ann has been on the school board since January 2015 and works for a renewable energy company. She is currently working on her Bachelors of Business Administration. She and her husband have three boys, and enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and going to high school sports. She graduated from Fillmore Central Schools and has lived in Spring Valley for over 14 years. 
 

 
Jackie Horsman, Director - Jackie is a newly elected board member. She lives in Wykoff with her husband and children and owns a marketing and public relations firm, ReVo Media. Outside of being a mom, her biggest passion is volunteering. Jackie has lived in the district more than 20 years.
