Mr. Gealow Hello all! My name is Lee Gealow and I am the new English teacher in the district! My educational background begins at North Iowa Area Community College where I attained my associate's degree while playing baseball for the Trojans. From there I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Iowa State University, my Iowa teaching licensure from the University of Northern Iowa, and most recently a master's degree in education from - again - Iowa State University. Go Cyclones! I have taught for 7 years now and my classroom rules are simple: 1. Tell the truth, and 2. Do your best. If you're consistently accomplishing those two tasks, regardless of outcome, you and I will always be ok. 2 years ago I moved to Rochester to be with my now wife Christina who conducts lab research diagnosing lymphomas and leukemias at Mayo Clinic. We're both ecstatic that I found a spot here at Kingsland during that transition. Everyone has been very welcoming. I look forward to working alongside Mrs. Stacey Hogberg in providing you a worthwhile education in the English department that will propel you in all other areas of your life. After all, English class is communications class... and in what profession is that not handy? (: I'm excited to continue meeting you all in person and get after these things together. Thank you for your patience. Go Knights! Sincerely, Lee Gealow |
