Hello! My name is Erin Stevenson. This is my 1st year teaching in the Kingsland School District. I started my teaching career in the Rochester Public School District and then Transitioned to the Austin Public School District. I worked as a Special Education Teacher for the Austin Public School District for 16 years.I first ran a Transition Program for 18 to 21 year old students and them moved on to teaching 5th and 6th grade students. Here at Kingsland Public Schools, I am working as an elementary special education teacher. My husband and I reside in Lime Springs, IA. We have a miniature schnauzer named Finn. We farm with my husband's uncle and my father. I am from Plainvewi, MN and help take care of my dad, so I spend alot of time at the family farm. This is our first Flexible Learning day for the school year. I have given your son or daughter a packet they can work on today. There is a cover letter explaining which assignments and activities go with each grade level. Depending on what services I provide your son/daughter, there may be reading, math, writing, and social skills activities for them to do. If you cannot find the packet, please reach out to me to provide you with some activities your son/daughter could do today for their service minutes.
