Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) all come together in this hands-on, project-based summer camp designed for middle school level students. Students, along with PLTW certified instructors, take part in a week-long camp focused on various PLTW topics, like Energy & the Environment, Flight & Space, and Design & Modeling. In the past, students have built towers, designed and programed cars, rockets, computer-based bridges, and even newspaper "nests" to focus on the different aspects of the STEM curriculum. By the end of camp, parents are invited to join students, who showcase and demonstrate their various projects.
