 The 2024-2025 school year will mark my 18th year at Kingsland. For the first three years in the KPS schools, I was the elementary music teacher, and I also held positions in the special education and Title I department. I taught kindergarten and multi-age intermediate subjects in other schools before Kingsland. I am VERY excited to be teaching first grade again!
I received my teaching degree from Winona State University in 2005. In 2008, I returned to school and participated in a Rochester cohort through Hamline University. In April 2010, I graduated from Hamline with a Master of Arts in Education degree. Recently, I attended the Saint Mary's University graduate program with my fellow colleagues to receive a K-12 reading license.
I feel very fortunate to return to Kingsland to teach with the other staff in our elementary building. I am proud to be a part of our wonderful school community! |
