I am an educator by choice. I have had a desire to teach since I was a student in high school. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a student that is continually learning about education and methods to improve my instruction in the classroom.

I grew up in Colorado and after high school I attended college at University of Sioux Falls for my bachelor’s degree (1994) and Winona State University for my masters (2001). I have recently completed a graduate certificate in mathematics. 

I am currently in my 29th year of teaching math. I have taught in several public schools as well as private individuals. I have been involved in several web-based learning opportunities, both as a teacher and as a student. 

 I currently live in Rochester, MN. My two children have completed college. My son graduated from Colorado Christian University in Denver. My daughter graduated from University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota (my alma mater!). They each were married this past summer!!
