CIS Español 3 is a full year class that is a continuation from Español 2. This course is worth college credit and equivalent to Riverland Community College's Spanish 2001 (4 cr.) & Spanish 2002 (4 cr.). Students will further develop the skills they already have, as well as expand their vocabulary, grammar skills, speaking skills, writing skills and knowledge of Hispanic culture and customs. The primary material students will use is the Avancemos! Level 3 textbook series which has on online component which allows students to practice at home.There will be more homework and projects, and students will be expected to speak primarily in Spanish to communicate in class. The focus of the class will be on students´ ability to speak, read, and write in the language, as well as obtain global perspectives related to the Spanish speaking world. |
